SPRING STORM GROUP MUSIC (SSG Music)

SSG Music supports aspiring musical talents in Japan who mainly specialize in wind instruments (Brass) for studying abroad in the U.S., while acting as a consultant for them. Not only that but in addition, we hold open seminars and concerts for those who have experience playing wind instruments, as well as providing them lessons on learning varied wind instruments and introducing them to specialized instructors.

The goal of SSG Music is to help improve the abilities of wind instrumentalists in every aspect both in Japan and America. Educational standard in America, particularly in New York is set at a very challenging level and thus produces high numbers of high-caliber music. We aim to pass on such a wonderful educational technique to a lot of people in Japan, as well as to produce a great number of wind instrumentalists and show them off in full display to the world. At the same time we aim to introduce such talented wind instrumentalists to the city of New York.

The percentage of wind instrumentalists who come abroad to study aren’t as high as pianists, string instrument players, or vocalists. Because of this, there isn’t that much information or support of overseas education for wind instrumentalists. Sadly, when they decide to go abroad, so often they’ll come into situations where they’ll have little or no access at all to studying in a foreign country. This is where SSG Music can come in to help you overcome this. SSG Music hopes to take a role of a helping hand to those gifted musicians in New York and Japan, and to give support in putting their high level of music out into the world.
